SANDY LAKE FIRST NATION, Ont. – A 28-year-old man is in stable condition after an early morning stabbing at the Sandy Lake First Nation, about 600 kilometres northwest of Thunder Bay.
Nishnawbe Aski Police Service at the Sandy Lake detachment officers received reports of a stabbing early Wednesday morning, where they located the victim who had suffered an injury to his chest.
The man is said to currently be receiving medical care and is in stable condition.
The NAPS North West Region Crime Unit is investigating. No arrests have been made.
