A Thunder Bay meat processing company has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from the processing of high-risk meat products.
Sausage Pros, located on Simpson Street, and its owners have been ordered to pay a total of $25,000 in fines and victim surcharges for processing speciality meats without a licence.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food says there is an open dialogue with independant meat plant operators.
