THUNDER BAY -- All school buses have been cancelled for Wednesday, a huge snowfall covering the city and making roads dangerous to travel on.
Five rural schools under the Lakehead Public Schools banner have also been closed for the day : Crestview, Gorham and Ware, Valley Central, Kakabeka Falls and Whitefish Valley.
All other schools, including those overseen by the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board, remain open.
It will be up to students and parents get students to and from class on Wednesday. Afternoon routes have also been cancelled.
