Edgewater Public School is closed for the day because of a water main break in the area.
The school will be without water while repairs are underway and until the water is turned back on, the school will remain closed.
“All emergency procedures are being followed as per our policies,” said Cathi Siemieniuk, director of education, in a release issued to media.
“Student safety is our number one priority.”
Buses will be dropping students off once their parents or emergency contacts have been reached.
Students will be held at the school until emergency contacts have been contacted.
