MORLEY TOWNSHIP, Ont. – A 65-year-old man is facing weapons charges after an incident Saturday in Morley Township.
Provincial Police Service were called to investigate an accusation of threats involving the use of a firearm.
Members of the Rainy River District crime unit as well as the Northwest Region Emergency Response Team conducted an investigation including the execution of a warrant in Morley Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 65-year-old man has been charged criminally with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 30.
