A 29-year-old-man faces a number of drug related charges following a search by police.
Thunder Bay Police Service Guns and Gangs unit executed a search warrant the man’s apartment on Court Street in the city’s north end Wednesday night. Police arrest the man and seized $7, 320 in cash along with 240 grams of marijuana. Police say the street value was around $3,600.
Police charged the man with Proceeds of Crime Over $5,000, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Prohibited Weapon after police found brass knuckles.
The accused was released from custody with a promise to appear in court.
