THUNDER BAY -- A 24-year-old man is facing a second-degree murder charge following an early morning weapons call that left one man dead
Thunder Bay Police responded to a weapons call on Friday, June 24 around 2:45 a.m. at a residence in the 900 block of Miles Street East.
Police located a deceased adult male.
As a result, Joseph HUBBARD, 24, of Thunder Bay, was arrested at the scene by the responding officers.
Hubbard has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder and is expected to appear in bail court on Friday.
The identity of the deceased is not being released pending next of kin notification.
Members of the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Units are now involved in the ongoing investigation.
A post-mortem examination will be scheduled.
The investigation remains ongoing.
