THUNDER BAY - A second resident at Southbridge Roseview Manor has passed away from COVID-19.

The long-term care home is currently experiencing an outbreak of COVID-19, with 37 residents having tested positive and 15 staff members.

According to the Roseview website as of Monday morning, two residents have passed away as a result of the virus.

This weekend, the website stated that one resident had passed away.

It's the fourth COVID-19 death in the Thunder Bay District.

Roseview's website says staff are being tested at a minimum of every two weeks.

"With community spread still being a major concern, this regular testing will help us detect new positive staff or asymptomatic staff early and limit the risk of potential exposure to our residents," the website reads.
