Second suspect arrested in Balmoral Street homicide

THUNDER BAY -- A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of 30-year-old Cody Bulmer.

On Wednesday, members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Break and Enter and Robbery, Primary Response and Major Crime Units located and arrested a second identified suspect.

Daniel Blais, 36, was taken into custody and transported to the TBPS headquarters at 1200 Balmoral Street on his outstanding warrant without incident.

He is charged with second-degree murder and is expected to appear in bail court on Thursday, June 9.
