THUNDER BAY – A section of Chapples Drive is closed Tuesday to realign and reset the culvert that crosses Chapples Drive. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
The road will be closed to vehicle traffic at the southwest corner entrance until the loop at the golf course. It will be closed to pedestrians from the start of the trail at the river up until the golf course.
Chapples Drive on the west side will temporarily allow two-way vehicular traffic to Chapples Golf Course.
Motorists are asked to use extra caution as the road will be shared with pedestrians and obey all posted signage when travelling near the construction area.
