THUNDER BAY -- A fatal collision closed Highway 11/17 on Thursday.
The collision was between a vacuum truck and a passenger vehicle, which was severely damaged.
The Ontario Provincial Police are reporting one fatality, no more information about those involved is available at this time.
According to Ontario Provincial Police Twitter account, Highway 11/17 is closed in both directions between Twin City Crossroads and Mapleward Road.
There is a detour in place.
