CITY OF THUNDER BAY

THUNDER BAY – Island Drive, between Atlantic Avenue and Main Street, will close to all through traffic for approximately one week, beginning on Monday, Sept. 13. This closure allows for repairs to the two rail crossings on this stretch of road.
Motorists are asked to obey the construction signs, drive with caution, and use alternate routes around the construction zone.
Final paving of Island Drive between the Neebing-McIntyre Floodway and Main Street will be completed in the following weeks.
