Section of James Street closing on Monday

Work on railway crossing expected to last five days.

THUNDER BAY -- A section of James Street will be closed for five days, starting on Monday.

City officials say the road will be shut down to traffic between Gordon and Mary streets, in order to allow for rehabilitation work on a railway crossing.

A detour, along Walsh Street to Neebing Avenue to Mary Street will be posted.

Drivers are asked to obey construction signs and use caution in the area. Anyone experiencing isses can phone city dispatch at 625-2195.
