City of Thunder Bay media release
THUNDER BAY – Storm sewer reconstruction on James Street between Victoria Avenue and Churchill Drive in the vicinity of the Neebing River will begin on Monday, June 12, and is expected to take approximately 16 weeks to complete.
As construction proceeds, the road will be closed to through traffic, local traffic will be permitted. A detour route for through traffic will be established on Churchill Drive, Edward Street and Victoria Avenue.
Drivers travelling in the area are asked to utilize alternate routes, use extra caution and obey all posted signage.
