CITY OF THUNDER BAY

THUNDER BAY – John Street Road between Valley Street and Sunflower Street, will be closed to through traffic starting on Tuesday, Oct. 12, for asphalt resurfacing.
The posted detour route will be Valley Street, Hutton Park Drive and Sunflower Street.
The present work is estimated to take two weeks, but weather conditions and other factors may impact project timelines.
Those travelling near the construction zone are asked to use extra caution and obey all posted signage and detours.
