THUNDER BAY — A section of Mapleward Road will be closed starting later this week, reducing access to the landfill to one way.
City officials said Mapleward Road will be closed between John Street Road and the Solid Waste and Recycling Facility starting Friday.
The closure is expected to last one week and will be for repaving and drainage work.
Access to the landfill will only be available from the south by Oliver Road and Mapleward Road during the closure.
People are asked to be cautious when driving through the construction zone.
