A 90-year-old man was assaulted by a pair of men in their 20s on Saturday, while walking alone on Brodie Street.

Police say the two suspects began threatening the victim and made a gesture as if about to hit the man, before an 18-year-old passerby intervened and the suspects fled the scene on foot. Police conducted a nearby search, but were unsuccessful locating the men.

Both suspects are described as Native Canadian, standing about 5-foot-10. The first suspect wanted by police is described as having a medium build, black hair and was wearing a black T-shirt with black jeans and blood on his face.

The second suspect had a large build, a black brush cut and was wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans.
The investigation continues.

Anyone with information on the alleged crime is asked to contact police.
