THUNDER BAY — City police are investigating an assault that took place early Monday morning.
Responding to a call on the city's south side, officers went to the 1100 block of Donald St. East at around 3:30 a.m.
A male was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for treatment of injuries that are considered not life-threatening.
A visible police presence remains in the area as officers continue to investigate.
