THUNDER BAY - A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for the city of Thunder Bay
Environmental Canada issued a severe thunderstorm watch Wednesday morning, saying conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms for the morning and afternoon.
The city could see wind gusts up to 100 kilometres an hour, nickel sized hail and heavy rain.
People are advised to monitor conditions. Severe thunderstorms can produce torrential rainfall, damaging winds, and large hail can result in damage to property and serious injury.
