THUNDER BAY -- Strong winds and large hail could be on the way with thunderstorms forecasted to head toward the city late Wednesday.
Environment Canada issued the severe thunderstorm warning, cautioning that widely scattered thunderstorms are forecasted to develop in the afternoon and into the evening.
The storms have the potential of producing wind gusts up to 90 kilometres per hour and large hail near two centimetres, according to the Environment Canada warning.
People are urged to head indoors when the thunder roars.
