Sewer work closes portion of Algoma Street

Motorists in the city's North End might want to pull up Google Maps before venturing out the next two days. The city on Wednesday announced abrupt closures to a portion of Algoma Street in order to conduct sewer repairs.

Motorists in the city's North End might want to pull up Google Maps before venturing out the next two days.

The city on Wednesday announced abrupt closures to a portion of Algoma Street in order to conduct sewer repairs.

Algoma Street, from River Street to Camelot Street is expected to be closed for at least 48 hours, effective immediately.

The northbound land of Dawson Street will also be closed for at least two days while the repairs are made.
