Shelter House Thunder Bay released final figures from its 2009 Christmas fundraising drive.
Despite some concern over the ability to reach this years target, Shelter House officials say they were able to meet $145,000 goal.
Executive Director Cal Rankin says the funding will go a long way toward meeting $400,000 the organization must fundraise annually to maintain services.
Rankin also says large quantities of frozen meat and non-perishable food items were received that are helping to keep their shelves stocked.
