Single vehicle collision sends two to hospital

THUNDER BAY - Two people were sent to the hospital after a single vehicle crash on Highway 61 Wednesday afternoon. Thunder Bay OPP detachment Sgt. David Moscall said at 1:55 p.m. a vehicle veered off the roadway while traveling south on Highway 61.

THUNDER BAY - Two people were sent to the hospital after a single vehicle crash on Highway 61 Wednesday afternoon.

Thunder Bay OPP detachment Sgt. David Moscall said at 1:55 p.m. a vehicle veered off the roadway while traveling south on Highway 61. The driver collided with the tree line before coming to a complete stop.

Both female driver and male passenger were taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center by ambulance.

The traffic was not disrupted due to the incident.

The cause of the crash is not known at this time. The investigation continues.
