Levi Whiskeyjack, 21, was taken into custody after he and 21-year-old Harry Whiskeyjack were allegedly causing a disturbance while intoxicated in Sioux Lookout. While being put into a cell Levi Whiskeyjack allegedly struck an officer with a prisoner property storage bin.

He has been charged with causing a disturbance and assaulting a police officer. Harry Whiskeyjack was charged with causing a disturbance. They remain in custody and appear in court Friday.

On Wednesday Sioux Lookout OPP responded to a complaint that a man was allegedly  intoxicated and threatening people at a community barbecue. Christopher Carpenter, 35, has been charged with causing a disturbance and two counts of uttering threats to cause bodily harm.

He appears in court Friday.
