THUNDER BAY — The Thunder Bay District Health Unit reported six new COVID-19 cases in its service area on Monday.

However, with 12 previous cases having been resolved, the active caseload in the district fell to 33, the lowest total since May 28.

Among the new cases, five are in First Nation communities and one is in the City of Thunder Bay or immediate surrounding townships.
