THUNDER BAY — A six-week-long construction project is starting along Cornwall Avenue.
Between Banning and Crown Street, only local traffic will be allowed in the area as city crews work to install new catch basin leads, watermain work and new retaining walls.
All construction activity will take place in the back lane, which will be fully closed for the duration of the project.
The City has no major detours planned, and Cornwall Avenue will remain open to local traffic only between Banning and Crown Street.
Residents and road users are asked to drive cautiously in the area and follow posted signage.
