City of Thunder Bay Media Release
December 1, 2016 – The waterfront skating rink at Prince Arthur’s Landing officially opens today, Thursday, December 1, 2016. With the rink opening, the City is encouraging residents to come down to the waterfront and enjoy the many activities and facilities available to the public.
“The rink offers fun for those both young and old alike, we’re excited to have it open for all to enjoy over the winter months ahead,” said Kathy Ball, Operations Coordinator at Marina Park.
“There is so much to do here at the waterfront – residents can also check out the Baggage Building Art Centre activities or explore the trails throughout the park while taking in the unparalleled views and natural surroundings of Thunder Bay’s waterfront.”
The Waterfront Skating Rink and Water Garden Pavilion are open daily from 12 noon to 9 pm.
