Highway 587 leading to Sleeping Giant Provincial Park remains closed as crews work to fix the 20 foot gap left after last week’s heavy rainfall.
Park superintendent Greg Wilson says power was restored to the park on Monday and people can start making bookings for as early as Tuesday.
Wilson adds that they're hoping the park can re-open by Friday.
But an MTO spokesperson told CKPR Radio Wednesday that installation of the new culvert will start on Thursday and could take a few days to complete.
