Police are cautioning motorists to drive carefully on the region’s increasingly messy roads.

At least five vehicles have left local highways on Tuesday morning, as snow pelted the Thunder Bay area and warmer-than-usual temperatures created slippery roads.

At one incident on Highway 11/17, a pick-up truck slid off the highway into the ditch, landing on its side. No injuries were reported and no charges were expected, said the OPP officer on scene.
