Snow on the way, but will it stick around?

According to Environment Canada, there’s 60 per cent chance the city will see showers of some variety Thursday morning.

Periods of snow is expected to start at some point Thursday morning with accumulation of about two centimetres.

There’ll be a bit more snow Thursday night, with accumulation expected to be between two and four centimetres.

Unlike the first snowfall, you can expect what falls Thursday to stick around for at least a little while, as the current long-range forecast shows below freezing temperatures through the remainder of this week and into next week.

Between Friday and next Wednesday, daytime highs will range between -1C and -5 C, while nighttime lows may get as cold as -12 C.
