THUNDER BAY — Airlines serving Thunder Bay reported numerous flight delays and cancellations Monday.

Flight schedules were disrupted by a weather system that brought blowing snow to the Superior West region.

Environment Canada also issued a snowfall warning for the city and surrounding area.

Travellers should check with their airline before heading for the airport, or check on the Thunder Bay Airport website before leaving to pick up someone scheduled on an incoming flight.

The snow was expected to end late Monday evening.
