THUNDER BAY – Mild November weather could end with a dusting of snow this weekend.
If you’re hoping against snow, the odds may still be in your favour as Environment Canada predicts a 30 per cent chance of flurries this Saturday with temperatures expected to reach a low of -6 C.
That’s the only sign of snow in a long-range forecast that shows a more mild, albeit rainy, week.
Tuesday features 30 per cent chance of showers with a daytime high of 9 C, while Wednesday also comes with a 30 per cent chance of showers but with a daytime high of 12 C.
Rain is more likely on Thursday, which features a 60 per cent chance of showers. The daytime high is expected to hit 13 C.
The weekend brings the cold air. Friday’s daytime high of 4 C is accompanied by an expected nighttime low of -3 C. And after Saturday’s expected cold and possible snow comes a Sunday and Monday with highs of 5 C and 7 C respectively.
