Snowfall expected on Monday

Up to 10 centimetres expected in Thunder Bay by Monday night.

THUNDER BAY -- Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement, saying up to 10 centimetres of snow could fall on Thunder Bay on Monday.

Snow is expected to begin overnight in the area and continue through most of the day on Monday. Between five and 10 centimetres could fall by Monday night, but accumulations of up to 10 to 15 centimetres could occur at higher elevations.

Travel could be impacted as a result of the snowfall and the public is advised to monitor alerts issued by Environment Canada.
