THUNDER BAY — Two people suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in a snowmobile collision Monday night in the Murillo area.
Thunder Bay police said the machine the pair was riding on struck a tree on private property near Calvert Road.
Police, Oliver Paipoonge Fire and Emergency Services, and Superior North EMS all responded to the incident.
The victims of the collision, a male and a female, were taken to hospital.
The Thunder Bay Police Traffic Unit is now involved in the ongoing investigation.
