Sobey, Glomba lead Mallon's Better Ball after Day 1

Duo holds four shot lead over two teams with 18 holes to go.

THUNDER BAY -- Colin Sobey and Scott Glomba will carry a four-shot lead into Sunday's second and final round of the 2021 Mallon's Play It Again Sports Better Ball Tournament.

The duo, playing in the second flight, fired an 10-under 61 at Chapples Golf Course, putting them four in front of father-and-son duo -- and defending champions -- Evan and John DeGrazia, who were six-under 65 on the day. Team Anderson was also six-under on the day.

Fifteen teams are within eight shots of the lead heading into Day 2 of the tournament, which will take place at Strathcona Golf Course.
