Hydro One says it might be noon before nearly 1,100 rural customers have their power restored.

The power outage is affecting customers in the Gorham, Ware and Folwer areas and is the result of a transport truck crash that led to knocked down power lines.

The crash took place on Highway 102 near Mackenzie Road.

Officers with the OPP are investigating, and no details regarding injuries have been made public.

The OPP says the highway is open.
