A song of hope is resonating through the community, and now it's getting national recognition.
A sold-out concert and video premiere of the song titled Hope will be hosted at the Foundry Tuesday night to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society, on the first day of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
When Capri Ruberto Anderson wrote this song last year, she never imagined the impact it would have on people all over the world.
Now the 13 year old has teamed up with Imaginarium Studios to film the official video of her family's story, and her mother's battle with breast cancer.
The one night only, special event will feature a pink carpet, and a launch of the video for the song Hope, which will be uploaded to CapriCanada.com Tuesday.
Her song will also be available for purchase on iTunes.
The concert and video premiere will be live-streamed online at 8 p.m. Tuesday. The fundraising goal is $10,000.
