Southbridge Roseview active COVID-19 cases fall to 25

Thirteen residents of the Thunder Bay nursing home have died from COVID-19.

THUNDER BAY —  The number of active COVID-19 cases at Southbridge Roseview long-term care in Thunder Bay has fallen to 25 from the 27 reported on Sunday.

However, the company's website shows the cases include 14 residents, one more than on Sunday.

The other 11 cases involve staff members at the Shuniah Street nursing home.

So far in the pandemic, 13 residents of the 157-bed facility have died after contracting COVID-19.

An outbreak has also been declared at the Southbridge Pinewood long-term care home on Walsh Street, where two staff members have tested positive for the virus.
