THUNDER BAY -- There could be significant freezing rain in the area next week Environment Canada says.
A special weather statement Friday afternoon says a large low from Texas will track northeast to Lake Superior starting this weekend bringing cold air, snow and the possibility of significant freezing rain that could last for hours Monday.
Environment Canada is asking people to monitor alerts and forecasts.
