THUNDER BAY -- Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the city of Thunder Bay, warning of a significant snowfall this weekend.
A special weather statement Friday morning says snow is expected to arrive on Saturday and continue into Sunday morning or afternoon.
Total snowfall accumulations of 15 to 20 centimetres are possible by Sunday afternoon.
The government weather agency says consider changing travel plans accordingly as hazardous winter travelling conditions are likely.
