UPSALA, Ont. -- A speedy driver received more than a traffic ticket after police found amphetamines in his vehicle Wednesday afternoon.
An OPP officer stopped the Quebec motorist after the driver was clocked at 125 km/h in a 90 km/h zone on Highway 17 near Upsala.
Police then searched the man’s vehicle, leading to the discovery and seizure of syringes and vials of amphetamines.
Three suspects from Quebec now face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
