City police have laid several charges against a man following a bizarre incident early Tuesday morning.
Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the man was driving at a high-rate of speed around 1 a.m. when he crashed into some construction pylons, went through a hole dug by a road crew, and over a snowbank before hitting a building at 402 Simpson Street.
There were no injuries reported as a result of the crash.
Police say the same person had also been charged with impaired driving last Monday.
