The collapse of the Sports Dome in Thunder Bay has forced the cancellation of the annual Central Canada Outdoor and Recreation Show.
The Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce announced the decision today, saying it was because of uncertainty regarding the availability of the dome.
Since the structure gave way to snow and strong wind over three weeks ago, the owners have made no announcement about their plans for the dome.
The outdoor show was scheduled for February 24 to 26, 2017.
A news release from the Chamber states that any exhibitors who have made deposits will be reimbursed as soon as possible.
The Chamber said it will keep the community informed as plans develop for the 2018 outdoor show.
