TORONTO – Stephen Lecce says students, parents and teachers can rest assured, spring break will go ahead as planned on April 12.

Lecce, Ontario’s education minister, on Tuesday said in making the announcement, he’s following the advice of the province’s chief medical officer of health, Dr. David Williams.

The comments come a day after Premier Doug Ford said he would let schools, students and parents know on Friday if spring break, originally scheduled in March but delayed because of COVID-19 concerns, would go ahead in April.
