THUNDER BAY – COVID-19 may has St. John Ambulance down, but not out.

The organization on Friday announced that it has pushed back the date of its annual Spring into Summer Trailer Draw until Sept. 30.

The grand prize was originally supposed to be drawn for on June 24.

“In years previous we have been thrilled to partner with numerous organizations throughout our community in displaying our grand prize camper trailer which allowed our community members to walk through the trailer and purchase their $10 ticket,” said Brian Edwards, fund development and volunteer co-ordinator at St. John Ambulance in Thunder Bay.

“Due to restrictions put in place by the COVID-19 outbreak we have had to adjust our approach significantly.”

Tickets for this year's draw will be by phone only.

The second early-bird draw date will remain the same and is scheduled for 2 p.m. on May 13.

More information can be found at www.10dollartrailer.com and on the St. John Ambulance Facebook page.
