THUNDER BAY — St. Joseph's Care Group will again be looking for a new president and CEO.

Kelli O'Brien, who was hired into the job in September 2021, is resigning from the role, board chair Susan Fraser announced in a news release distributed by the organization on Friday.

The statement said O'Brien will remain in the role while the board of directors conducts its search and recruitment process, which is expected to be completed this summer.

"During her tenure, St. Joseph’s Care Group continued to move forward with new and innovative ways of delivering care, always with partnerships and relationships at the core," the statement reads.

The organization said O'Brien will return to her home in Newfoundland.
