THUNDER BAY — Two floors of St. Joseph's Hospital now have outbreaks of COVID-19.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit and St. Joseph's Care Group confirmed a new outbreak Monday on 2 North and South, Medically Complex Services.
An assessment of the situation is underway.
On Sept. 27, an existing outbreak on 5 North (Geriatric Assessment and Rehabilitative Services) spread to 5 South.
As of Sept. 29, there were five ongoing COVID outbreaks in high-risk settings in the Thunder Bay region.
