THUNDER BAY -- A 41-year-old man is in custody after allegedly stabbing a woman in the Bay and Court streets area.
Thunder Bay police were called to the 200 block of Bay Street early Tuesday morning after receiving reports that a female victim had been stabbed.
The victim was taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre by ambulance. Police did not provide details about her condition.
Responding officers searched the area and found a suspect matching the description of the assailant.
Lukas Nganga Nguci has been charged with assault with a weapon and has been remanded in custody with a future court date.
