THUNDER BAY - City police were involved in a standoff at Lakehead University on Friday.
A significant police presence was at the Lakehead University at around 5 p.m. when officers were dispatched to the athletics building.
Members of the Emergency Task Unit were involved in the response and left the scene just before 8 p.m.
A single person was apprehended by police without injury.
