A man armed with a knife held up a Red River Road gas station early Sunday morning, fleeing with money and cigarettes.

Police say the suspect, identified as 5-foot-8 with a slim build, brown hair and dressed in black shoes with white soles, baggy jeans and a green winter coat with a hood over a black-and-white bush jacket, fled on foot.

He also had a Como mask over his face. He was last seen leaving the Shell station at 807 Red River Rd. and walking down Clarkson Street, headed toward Walkover Street.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Thunder Bay Police or phone Crime Stoppers at 623-8477.
